New Haven cop: "You don't take pictures of us." 0

By Carlos Miller

A short and dark video doesn’t show much but reveals enough to prove that New Haven, Connecticut cops are bullies when it comes to videotaping them in public.

In the video, police appear to be struggling with a suspect. Then, shortly after the 30 second mark, it appears as if a cop knocks the camera down.

“I was taking a picture,” replies the videographer, who is named Jamie Kelly, according to the Youtube description.

“You don’t take pictures of us,” the cop replies. “How do you shut this off?”

The video is then shut off.

The New Haven Police Department conveniently lists the number of its police chief, Frank Limon, on its website. He apparently is available Monday through Friday between 9 a.m and 5 p.m. EST.
