Man Rapes Woman in Central Park who Photographed him Masturbating

A 73-year-old bird watcher inadvertently photographed a man masturbating in Central Park, only to get raped by the same man a week later in retaliation.

“Do you remember me?” the man asked before grabbing her and raping her behind some bushes Wednesday morning.

The man made off with her camera and other belongings but was apparently captured on surveillance video.

Police made an arrest Wednesday night.

According to the New York Daily News:

When police arrived, she recounted her earlier encounter with the monster. “What are you doing?” the suspect said when he saw her camera, she told cops. “Give me that.”

The woman said her attacker insisted she delete the image and then let her go. For reasons not yet clear, the woman didn’t report the incident to police. Detectives are checking whether she downloaded the images.

The woman, who leads birdwatching tours in the park, was trying a new camera lens when the man pounced on her and beat her with his fists, cops said.

Before fleeing, he ordered her not to move. She was found lying on the ground around 11:30 a.m. by another bird watcher, Eric Ozawa.

“I talked to her, she said she’d been raped,” said Ozawa, a New York University writing professor. “Her face was swollen. Her right eye was badly bruised. Her forehead was swollen.”

The surveillance video, posted above, captured images of the suspect, which are posted below as screenshots

CARLOS MILLER’S LEGAL DEFENSE FUND

I am immersed in a legal case where I not only want to clear my criminal charges stemming from my arrest in January, but I want to sue the Miami-Dade Police Department for deleting my footage, which I was able to recover.

My goal is to set some type of precedent to ensure this does not happen as often as it does today where cops simply get away with it.
