Introducing PINAC's New Merchandise Line: PINAC Nation

Caps and shirts are just some of the items that are available on PINAC Nation, PINAC’s new merchandise line (Photo by Carlos Miller).

After years of thinking about it and months planning it, not to mention thousands invested in it, I finally launched the official Photography is Not a Crime merchandise site.

The site is called PINAC Nation,  which is my way of emphasizing the growing community this site has built over the years and to further grow that community by spreading the message of photographers’ rights.

I’ve placed an ad in the right side of the banner to promote it on a continual basis, but I will be replacing that ad with something different because it appears too small at the moment.

I will be adding new products over the next few weeks, including tank tops for women.

Right now, I’m offering free shipping for purchases of $50 or more. I am including PINAC stickers with the purchase of t-shirts, caps and hoodies.

Starting next month, I will be hosting contests where readers take photos of the stickers in various strategic places, then post them on the PINAC Nation Facebook page, with the best photo winning $25 worth of PINAC gear.

I will also give free PINAC gear to readers who submit photos of photographers wearing the products if I end up using them in the photo carousel at the top of the home page.

I also plan to create a separate page on the site featuring the photographers who have contributed with a short bio and a link to their page.

This is just another step towards reaching my final goal with this site. Expect more features to be added by next month which will make it easier for readers to submit stories and turn this site into an even more interactive communtity.

I also want to thank the guys over at Splotches who are not only responsible for designing both sites but are responsible for developing the features that I will introduce next month.

I recommend them to anybody who needs web design or development services.
