Oklahoma Woman Plows Car into Cop Car, Saying: “I’m God, Bitch”

Believing she was God, a woman drove at full speed towards a police officer, who fired off two rounds before a dramatic collision that was captured on body cam.

“I’m God, bitch,” said Stacey Ann Bunsey after popping her head out from the window of her overturned car. “Welcome to hell.”

“OK, but come on out,” Sand Springs police officers  urged.

The fact that nobody was seriously injured in the incident suggests that God, indeed, was looking over them that day.

But Bunsey was unable to use her God credentials to avoid arrest last Friday afternoon.

The 41-year-old woman was charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon on a police officer, eluding a police officer, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a stolen vehicle and resisting arrest.

According to Tulsa World:

About 12:15 p.m. on Friday, two Sand Springs police cars began pursuing the stolen SUV near Oklahoma 97 and 51st Street. The pursuit, which police officials described as high-speed, ended when one police cruiser followed the SUV as it drove into the entrance of the Northwoods school while the second cruiser, driven by Officer Stacy, stopped to try to block the SUV’s exit.

Carter said Stacy told investigators he intended to deploy “stop sticks” to disable the tires on the SUV but realized he didn’t have time and instead took cover behind the door of his car.

The SUV first circled the parking lot at Northwoods, a Sand Springs Public Schools facility serving about 450 students in kindergarten through second grade at 81st West Avenue and Old North Road.

Video shows that the SUV then accelerated and rammed into Stacy’s police car as gunshots from the officer’s weapon rang out. From the perspective of Stacy’s body camera, the officer can be seen tumbling and then standing up to assist his fellow officer in trying to apprehend the SUV’s driver.

The officers said that when they read her Miranda rights, asking her if she would like to make a statement, she cited the Lord’s Prayer.
