    Ginnie Springs, High Springs, Fl
The cops there know all the druggies camp at Twin. The employees party with the guests even though they’re not supposed to as well as notifying the campers that the cops are coming so they can hide their drugs. There is supposed to be a big “smoke out” party the weekend of June 26, 2015.

A drummer in a church band was killed by a plain closed cop in an unmarked car in Florida.

Carlos, I used to enjoy your blog. It used to actually be about photography and how police tried to stop people from filming. However lately, it seems to have degenerated into a forum for cop haters. Very few of the stories have anything to do with photography except that maybe somebody captured an ugly incident on film. Also your advertising has become completely obnoxious, with browser hijacks and popups. And on that note, I will say goodbye … your blog isn’t anything I want to read anymore.

A few pretty nasty laws are being proposed in the N.J. Senate against use of drone photography.

S3175 http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2014/Bills/S3500/3175_I1.HTM makes it a fourth degree crime to use a surveillance drone unless it has a device preventing it from flying over “a stadium with a seating capacity of 30,000 or more people
during a regular or post season Major League Baseball game, National Football
League game, National Collegiate Athletic Association Division One football
game, or a major motor speedway event.”

S3183 http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2014/Bills/S3500/3183_I1.HTM makes it a fourth degree crime to use a drone to photograph a highway even from over private property.

3183 can’t be done. It is already been decided in court. That would be prior restraint. It will only be a “law” until someone challenges it. They can only get away with what you let them.

All RC aircraft come with a device to limit it from flying over stadiums and such. It called THE PILOT. Again we are trying to control the inanimate device instead of the operator.

Thank you for your website and the dedication you provide. Please note, that the videos that should be on http://photographyisnotacrime.com/2014/01/bullied-student-files/ do not appear any longer. Would you please provide an updated link, or indicate if the subjects of the video have requested they be removed?

Sometimes PINAC will link to a video that is under the control of somebody else control on YouTube, or other site, and they take down the video. I can’t remember a video being removed by, or because of of, a request. Sometimes the remote server is down and the broken link is temporary.

Thank you for noting the broken link. I will notify the site manager.

MAJOR NEWS story coming out of Indiana specifically dealing with a majority of PINAC’s stories.

    http://www.wthr.com/story/31014061/indiana-bill-would-give-police-departments-option-of-not-releasing-video-footage

Indiana is attempting to block requests for dashcam/body camera footage out of fake concern for ‘privacy’. If you are a resident of Indiana, take a second to read the story and contact your local representative and tell them NOT to support HB 1019. The bill looks to be trying to be railroaded through quickly, so please call, email, etc. as soon as possible!

This is for Jeff Gray. I’ve been watching the events unfolding in Burns, Oregon and stumbled upon some video of armed security guys standing outside the Burns courthouse. They have no identifying badges or patches which has led to speculation they are mercenaries or something like that. The guy standing on the left in the below video looked familiar. He bears a striking resemblance to that BCSO Deputy Brian Stoll who arrested Jeff a few years ago for filming a traffic stop. The voice sounds somewhat similar too, but I’m not 100% certain. It would be strange indeed for a Florida Sheriff to be all the way over in Oregon. Jeff could likely tell better than, whether or not it’s the same individual:
