In the heat of a protest, a police officer struck a photojournalist so hard she lost a tooth while another photographer captured the incident on camera.
But now here’s a surprise.
The cop was arrested the following day.
Not in the United States, you say?
Of course not.
It all took place in Greece, but I had to write about it because I’m surprised such justice could be found anywhere in the world.
The cop was charged with unprovoked bodily harm, verbal abuse and violent behavior, which fall under the job description for American cops.
The photojournalist is Tatiana Bolari, who works for the Athens News Agency as well as other agencies.
