A video surfaced showing police officers marching down the street in Ferguson when somebody began firing a series of gunshots, forcing cops, protesters and journalists to run for cover.

Nobody was injured or arrested in the incident that took place Monday night, but it is an indicator how some protesters are treating this like an all-out war.

But I guess that’s to be expected when police treat it as an all-out war.

The journalists recording the scene were already coughing from the smoke bombs and tear gas that police had been firing when they were forced to run for cover.

According to KMOV:

Photographer Karl Lund said he was scared being in the midst of the clashes between protesters and police in Ferguson Tuesday night.
“Pretty scared, we didn’t know what to expect and didn’t expect gun fire,” Lund said.

Lund said he was laying low as police moved in with an armored vehicle after shots were fired.

“They (gunshots) were all over the place, hitting the truck and hitting the street, it was like someone was aimlessly firing,” Lund said.

Lund said one man appeared to be hit in the hand. It was same man a News 4 camera captured as he was driven to the police line at Ferguson and West Florissant. With help, he staggered to officers who took him in.
